Clark House Weddings: Cody & Lindsey

We know everyone is anxious to see some pictures from our most recent wedding so without further ado, here is a little sneak peek! Cody and Lindsey were married this weekend on the front lawn of the Clark House in front of about 340 of their friends and loved ones. The event was styled in shades of white, ivory and peacock blue and we think it embodied all the elegance and glamour the bride was hoping for!

After the ceremony, guests enjoyed cocktails at the stables and a reception followed at the pavilion. Everyone seemed to have a wonderful time and danced the night away. Be sure to visit the blog often for new pictures and updates! And maybe you'll see your special event featured here too!

Clark House Weddings: Matthew & Christine

The Clark House was proud to set the stage for the recent wedding of Matthew & Christine, as they said their vows on the front lawn before a crowd of family and friends. The morning ceremony was styled in shades of yellow, persimmon and white with the lush lawn and grounds of The Clark House as a backdrop.

The well-wishers were a diverse crowd, some from as far as the bride's homeland of Eastern Germany and they enjoyed a reception following the ceremony on the back lawn and portico. During the reception, the bride and groom took part in a German wedding tradition in which they used a two-handled saw to cut a log, symbolizing their ability to work together as a team to face difficult obstacles.

Two flags, one American and one German, were used as decor to represent the couple's joined heritage and backgrounds. The weather couldn't have been better and a lovely time was enjoyed by all. Our team here at The Clark House feels honored to have been included in Matthew & Christine's special day and we hope it will always remain a wonderful memory for them.
